I am staying at home for a weekend, the first in a long time.  I love going away and doing things differently but then it makes me appreciate a weekend of just doing nothing, if such a thing exists.

I am sitting thinking of two of my colleagues.  They are so dedicated that they have given up their weekend to go on a course.  They are camping in the Glens of Antrim tonight.  It takes a special kind of person to throw themselves into such a thing.  To go for a winter camp for the first time and do something that most people consider madness.  Are they doing it for the pupils?  For the School? I think at the end of the course they will realise, if they have not already, that they are doing it for themselves.  For the fun of it, for the craic.
