Today was a staff day.  At one point, in the afternoon, I walked into the staff room to find it packed with teachers.  All were in silence and deep concentration as the filled in reports on any and every available flat surface.  It was strange and eerie and I wondered if they could all be monks scribbling away at their art.

Eventually I was able to leave slightly earlier than a ‘normal’ school day and have a relaxing late lunch.  I lingered on for a while and sipped rich coffee while reading about the edges between hunter gatherers and farmers.

The moon is waxing and gibbous, it will not be long until it is the wolf moon.
